| Personally, I would choose to be a Sorcerer.
No Spell book, No zillion pound stack of parchment that you are lugging around and having to record all the spells you learn in, just raw, inborn, magical capability and prowess.
And I quote: Unlike a wizard or a cleric, a sorcerer need not prepare his spells
in advance. He can cast any spell he knows at any time, assuming he
has not yet used up his spells per day for that spell level.

| But as a sorcerer you are limited to only a certain amount of spells. If you choose all your spells and you get a new book you can't use it because you have already chose your spell. Take that you foolish halfing.  Also a would not mock a greater deity, I can act directly on almost any plane. | |

| Back on topic. Also wizards get higher level spells faster. wile your trying to cast fireball. I can just cast meteor swarm for 32 d6 dmg. | |
